Big Brother 2015 Spoilers: The Twist of the Season Revealed

CBS announced earlier this week that the big Big Brother 17 twist involves the introduction of new twists every week. Weekly, a special guest enters the Big Brother 2015 house to reveal the big twist of the week. Due to the new weekly twists, CBS dubbed Big Brother 2015 the “takeover” season.

Big Brother Julie Chen

On launch night, two guests enter the Big Brother house to unveil the twist of the season, and the first two big twists. Big Brother 16 winner Derrick Levasseur hinted (via Twitter) that he could become one of the special guests of Big Brother 17. We may not know when to expect Derrick but we know to expect him at some point in the game.

CBS’s official press release states:

BIG BROTHER announces this summer’s exciting new twist, “BB Takeover,” featuring weekly surprise guests who will unleash new twists into the game each and every week. The season’s special two-night premiere airs Wednesday, June 24 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and Thursday, June 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. In addition, Houseguests this season will live in a modern steel beach house that features a towering Sky Bridge.

We can safely bet on Big Brother alumni being the main special guests to enter the house during various takeover weeks. We also expect to see CBS stars. Like previous Big Brother seasons, we can expect some CBS cross-promotional efforts with stars of their fall and summer shows.

Likely, CBS plans to combine new twists and some of Big Brother‘s greatest hits twists (e.g. twins, exes, pairs, enemies, golden power of vetos, Pandora’s Box, and bringing back ghosts of Big Brother‘s pasts to stay throughout the season).

The addition of so many Big Brother twists can only mean that this season will not be boring. We already expected a rather exciting season with such a knowledgeable, cutthroat, and dedicated Big Brother 17 cast. This new detail ramps up our excitement for Big Brother 2015.

Big Brother 2015 Spoilers: First House Pictures

Today begins an exciting week for Big Brother fans. Expect lots of rumors, scoops, and spoilers as we edge closer to the June 24th and 25th premiere episodes. Tonight, we get our first major scoop of the season: the Big Brother 17 house tour.

On Entertainment Tonight, Big Brother host Julie Chen takes fans through an exclusive tour of the Big Brother 17 house, before the cast moves into it. CBS and Entertainment Tonight did not make fans wait to see the house, because they posted some pictures of it on their site this morning.

Big Brother 17 House: HOH Room

Some rooms shown in these pictures are the HOH room, two of the main bedrooms, a look at the backyard, the kitchen, memory wall, and various major lounge spots. Some of the interesting new designs include adding more chairs on the “bridge.” The bridge sits right above a lot of where the main action should take place. We expect people to use the bridge to spy, but it seems like a bad place to strategize because of its openness.

The Big Brother 17 bedrooms offer two really cool designs. One bedroom has a comic book theme, which includes art by Atlanta artist Craig Armstrong. Production designer Scott Storey and ET offered this insight into why they left the comic book pictures faceless: “The reason why there aren’t any people in the panels is simple: The houseguests are the characters.”

Another one of the Big Brother 17 rooms uses rich purples, reds, gray, and white to create a nightclub bedroom. The room also includes some chains as curtains. Storey intentionally made the room more “feminine” and predicted that women would migrate more to it.

Toy guns, Mexican wrestling masks, and a steel wave add some other fun touches to the Big Brother 17 house.

Big Brother 2015 Spoilers: Live Feeds Details Revealed

Big Brother fans, we have the news you have been waiting for: details on the live feeds.

BBLF - 560x293

CBS wants to ensure that you give their new streaming service a try by making the Big Brother live feeds exclusively accessible through CBS: All Access.

CBS All-Access comes equipped with numerous perks, besides the live feeds of course, including access to all of Big Brother‘s past 16 seasons on demand. You can also get access to hundreds of CBS’ current and past programming like The Amazing Race, Survivor, and Twin Peaks. Currently, the service only costs $5.99 a month, a slight decrease from Big Brother‘s usual early bird’s feeds price.

BBLF - 468

Last night, the preseason content started on CBS: All Access, but most of the special programming does not start until June 10th. So you have a little less than two weeks before you are going to want to subscribe to CBS: All Access. CBS also offers a special free week to new subscribers, just to entice you into becoming an All Access member.

You can view a complete schedule of the special preseason live feeds events below:

  • May 28 – Preseason content available
  • June 10 – VIP chat with BB16 winner Derrick Levasseur
  • June 15 – VIP chat with fan favorite Frankie Grande
  • June 16 – Exclusive LIVE stream interviews with the new Houseguests
  • June 25 – Live Feeds start after Night 2 of the BB17 premiere on West Coast

One unfortunate downfall of the feeds being only available through CBS: All Access is that the streaming service is only available to the USA audience, which eliminates a big part of Big Brother 17’s viewers: Canadians.

You will notice that one of the exclusives offered is a live stream interview with the new houseguests and it happens an entire week before the season starts. The live stream interviews should also give us a better early prediction on who might excel and who might quickly prove themselves a dud in the Big Brother 17 house.

The introduction of Big Brother 17 live feeds means that the madness has just begun, make sure to join it here.
