Big Brother 2015: Is Vanessa Playing for Fifth Place?

On Big Brother 2015, Vanessa Rousso made a huge scene about a five person alliance that was formed to evict her. Steve Moses, her closest ally, received the most backlash from her frustration. Vanessa ranted for hours about his betrayal. But was it all just Big Brother 17 strategy?

BB17: Vanessa and John

We are going to assume that Vanessa created this scene with Steve for two possible reasons. The first reason is that she wants him evicted this week. Vanessa sees Steve as a strong competitor.

Additionally, by forming a secret alliance with Austin Matelson, Liz Nolan, Julia Nolan, and John “Johnny Mac” McGuire, he proved that he was more loyal to them than her.

This puts Vanessa in a really bad position with her original alliance. Likely, if Austin, Liz, Julia, and Steve stay true to their final five deal (highly unlikely), Vanessa will be the first one out. Of course, if she wins Head of Household or Power of Veto, she is safe that week.

BB17: Steve and Vanessa

Most likely, Vanessa realizes that she needs a new plan. Her emotional outbursts seems like they were either setup to create distrust and ensure Steve’s eviction, or to guilt him into trusting her completely again. This brings us to the second possibility of Vanessa’s emotional outbursts.

She needs Steve back as her number two, or needs a new one. Right now, it seems like she is weighing her options between Johnny Mac and Steve as the person to join forces with until the end. One minute it seems like she is swaying towards keeping John, and the next Steve.

We probably will not see a clear decision from Vanessa until Wednesday. She wants to see who offers her the best pound of flesh. Right now, it seems more likely that Vanessa will keep Steve, but needs a drastic measure to make him more loyal to her than Austin and the twins.
