Big Brother 11 Starts on July 9th!

It's official, all the speculation has come to an end, and all the Big Brother addicts can rejoice...Big Brother 11 officially has a start date, and it's Thursday July 9! So we're just over a month away from what we've all been waiting for all these months. The show will be airing on it's classic schedule of Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday throughout the Summer. Big Brother House Calls Has Been Cancelled

In a fairly surprising move, Big Brother House Calls Host Gretchen Massey announced via her Myspace that House Calls has been cancelled and won't be a part of the upcoming Big Brother 11. For those of you not familiar, House Calls was the online talk show you saw advertised numerous times on the CBS show, and it was basically a recap show that would feature each week's evicted houseguest answering live caller questions and such, and the show was also be co-hosted by former Big Brother houseguests like Evel Dick. House Calls usually ran about 45 minutes, and aired 3 times a week. From the reactions we've seen , some people loved House Calls, and others never watched it and could care less. I guess for some people, it was a good way to hear from the evicted guests, maybe catch up on some missed happenings, but overall maybe it wasn't a huge part of the average Big Brother fan. First Big Brother 11 Commercial!

When the first commercial for Big Brother hits every year, you know that Big Brother time is not far off, and now is the time for the Big Brother 11 hype to begin, as CBS ran the first Big Brother 11 hype commercial. Not much information given here, other than Big Brother is coming and July, along with clips of classic Big Brother greatness to get us pumped for it. The crazy challenges, the girls in bikinis, the secrets, it's all there. This has been the first time in the history of this site that we've had to wait an entire year between Big Brother seasons, as we started with Big Brother 8, and that year we also had the Big Brother 9 winter season which was great if for nothing else, it made Big Brother 8, 9, and 10 very close together, so our waiting time was reduced greatly. But none the less, we've had an entire year to prepare for Big Brother 11, and we can't wait to get coverage going!
