Update: Chima Speaks on Leaving Big Brother!

Well here it is, what we've all been waiting for... (::cough::) Chima Simone is speaking out about her Big Brother experience and departure, and not a lot has changed since she left. She claims she had wanted to leave for a few days leading up to her departure before finally heading out the door. So basically what she's telling us is, since Coup D'etat had never been used before, it HAD to be a big scheme to get her out of the game? Talk about the biggest sore loser in Big Brother HISTORY. Obviously if Chima is going to play, the rules of a game have to meet her standards and rules, and throwing in any wild card situations just cannot be allowed, or else she'll quit! This really is pathetic, leaving the house simply because someone outplayed her. She obviously doesn't see that she's coming across as a pathetic loser who took her ball and went home, but here is what Chima had to say in an interview with Examiner.com.

"Hi Thomas. Yes, I did in fact quit the show, although there are reports on EW from CBS to the contrary. Big Brother would like everyone to believe I was kicked off for not following the rules, but I went to the producers repeatedly over the past couple of days wanting to leave....wanting out of that house!

As crazy as that house is, the producers NEVER want the world to think or know that we houseguests DO LEAVE when it becomes futile to stay. I lost faith in the show & my ability to remain committed to this game. All of the remaining housemates know I wanted to leave and that is why any conversation concerning me is cut in the live feed because they don't want America to hear the truth about my voluntary departure.

Do you really believe that I would be expelled for tossing my microphone when past houseguests have only been kicked off for violence & threats of violence? You know better, as do I.

It's better that I left. I did what was best for me in this game and that was to leave. When I chose to play & play hard the power I did earn was completely usurped by a game piece never used before in this game and my HOH reign was rendered useless. I have no regrets. As cliche' as it sounds, until the public is a part of a human pressure cooker, then the judgements should cease.

I find it interesting that my personal attacks on Russell have been highlighted, but his attacks on me pushed under a rug. Selective portrayals? I think so. Russell did terrorize the house, especially the women in the house. Why America constantly finds men attacking women okay, yet vilifies the woman defending herself, will always confound me. But what's done is done, now BB fans can find a new woman to hate. I didn't sign up for what I was exposed to & I left gladly. It was the principle of the matter, the $500,000 prize be damned. That's all for now! Take Care..."

  5. The BB game is rigged. They handed Jeff the game. A person who was playing the game (Jessie) was evicted by power American handed to Jeff. I think that is the part of the game I have a problem with. I just don't think I will be watching anymore.
    When Chima told the producer that she want to leave of Jessie was send packing, they shouls let her go at the point. Whey keep her in the house if she didn't want to stay. Now they have twist the event od her depature in their favor.

    I am a minority guy with the strong beliefs of not putting down another minority in the nature Chima did. Her words of racism should truely put her AND her family to an all time low in respect of others. Chima should NEVER get any TV time or any benifits from her terrible words of hate!   17. I am thrilled she left. Whether on her own or by getting the boot by BB.

    Personally, I think her mouth is why she was shown the door.

    She's a very unhappy, bitter person. How her family found anything to be proud of, I'm uncertain. Not a dig, just an observation.
    Hopefully she is able to watch the show in a subjective manner and realize she went over the top and lost it. Live and learn.

    As for the other girls who were making Jessie into a God. I honestly felt like puking. Are you kidding. Again, when they watch the show -- I think they will be a bit taken back by the true Jessie..........

    Ah, onto Tuesday with NO Chima. Much better.

    How about not placing race in the equation just for once?
    Why not be simply a strong person? I am a woman and I find it very offensive to throw your gender and race always in the sentence.

    Why can't people hold fast on their good moral ground, the goodness, kindness they show all human kind?

    Why couldn't she be a strong person with the color of her skin meaning nothing? If I were to say I'm a strong white woman everyone would be in an uproar. Nor would or do I even think such a thing. Take it out of the equation......... it does women of all races a disservice.

    I thought we were moving past this, finally! I suppose not for some.

    Face it, Chima came into this game with a chip on her shoulder, no excuse me a huge ROCK on her shoulder.

    She sincerely needs help, someone to talk to or she will fail in every step along her life's walk.

    She has got to go down in Reality history as the worst "sport" ever to play a "game."

    She was abusive one in the game and actually much worse of a "tyrant" in which she accused Russle of being.

    While I absolutely do not condone his behavior, her behavior was much more over the top and offensive on a higher level.

    I hope she gets the help she so sorely needs.

  24. As a human being I am sorry for what happened to Chima. If she has lived with this all these years then she should take this time to seek professional help. If she is such a strong woman, black white, pink or purple should not matter.
    Where was her strength when her team lost the power. Then all she could do was to turn tail and run out the door. What a poor excuse for a player. He attitude, her remarks and in my opinion her weakness was inexcusable. How dare she think that she was so important that BB would give out a power just to mess with her. How would they know that she was going to become HOH? One of the show's mottos is "EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED".Other players over the years have had obstacles thrown at them and they didn't become a quitter. It's a game, get over yourself allready.

I think it is so funny how the "women" in the house only came together when they were broken down....Lydia and Natalie hated each other until Jesse was gone and Chima put Lydia up and then Kevin refused to use the POV on her....some alliance! I DO smell a conspiracy. This is coming from someone who isn't American and does not live in America. Does anyone realize that the house has been divided along racial lines since day one? As an African American woman from NY city, who watched with horror and utter devastation as the twin towers fell...who knew first hand victims of real terrorism, I am horrified by Chima and her actions, words, and deeds. I do not wish her harm, I do not wish to name call her. What I wish for her, and what I pray for her, is that she seek help from someone in the mental profession and the Lord Almighty to help her. How dare you invoke the memory of the twin towers in your hateful vendette over a reality show.

    So Jessie was voted out using America's choice, and the power. That kind of twist, of having a choice made for the house based on nothing what so ever, other than to expect the unexpected is what BB is about. The very kind of twist that put Jessie in the game without him having to compete, and made him HOH, also removed him from the game. It's called expect the unexpected. And Karma. The behavior exhibited by Chima, Lydia, and Natalie after Jessie left was immature, irrational, and spiteful. Chima however, was the worst with her use of the twin towers and the term terrorist. May God have mercy on her and help her, she needs it.

    And Chima, get real, you were ejected. Anytime you wanted to leave you could have. But you continually refused to go to the diary room. You broke rules from almost day one. I don't know why BB waited so long.

  39. First of all, Jeff wasn't the first to "cut the lines" of the Athletes. Chima immediately hated her team mates and couldn't wait to get away from the "nerds" She didn't consider herself a nerd and was VERY insulted to be in their group! So no conspiracy to think of.

    She wanted to stay, hence her saying if she didn't get Russel out this week, she'd get him out next week or the next and so on. She was hell bent on getting him out and she was determined to win HOH in the following weeks.

    She threw a tantrum like the baby she is and it came back to bite her in the ass. So now, of course she's going to say I left not I got the big BB BOOT!!!

    She was expelled, plain and simple.

  44. While Chima's performance was dramatic and far more real than scenes selected for viewing I believed she was spiraling out of control and needed help. She makes this more evident with the way she defended her behavior/departure from the show.
    Heaven help those of us who read coulumns,articles,ect. She is a free-lance journalist. I hope counselling can help her...I have my doubts. Nasty comments about her character is shocking - her behavior was unacceptable. Unforgivable was her Twin Towers comment.
