Julie Chen Appears on David Letterman to Promote Big Brother 9

Julie Chen did her annual appearance on David Letterman last night to promote the upcoming season of Big Brother. We were hoping to finally get some dirt on what this season is going to be about, since we're almost two weeks out already! Maybe a hint on a couple of house guests? A hint on what the twist this season will be? Well, nope, we got absolutely NOTHING. That's right, Julie Chen sat there and talked about an awards show she attended, then they talked about some Big Brother history, then just plugged the date for the first show, YAY! Absolutely no new info. So we sit and wait until the bomb drops on the list of house guests, but there is hardly any time left, so no doubt it HAS to be soon. We here at BigBrotherFansBlog.com are hard at work in preparation for the unexpected winter edition of Big Brother! We knew when Big Brother came around again, it would a huge deal, but this just came really early, and we're getting everything ready for round the clock 24/7 coverage, so be sure and slick our subscribe button on the right so you're sure to get all the updates. While checking out some videos of the classic Big Brother 8 season, we ran across this video of Jameka casually dropping her top for a brief second, before remembering, "HEY I'm on live TV 24/7, I forgot I have to hide my goods" and covering up. We get a brief nipple shot in there, and we've had tons of people searching for some Jameka material, so we're giving you this moment that somehow got by our radar. We know Jessica, Daniele, unfortunately Amber, and mainly Jen provided us with many hot and barely dressed or plain undressed moments, so now we can add a little Jameka to that list. It's Official: Big Brother 9 After Dark on Showtime 2 Confirmed!

Finally, the news everyone has been wondering about was confirmed today by a CBS press release, and that is that Big Brother 9 will be once again featured on Showtime 2, every night of the season from 12-3 am eastern time. After Dark debuted with Big Brother 8, and was a great way for Big Brother fans to keep following the action on a nightly basis, after the CBS shows aired. After Dark provides an uncensored look at the Big Brother house for 3 hours every night, as where the regular CBS show has to keep it clean for obvious reasons. Big Brother addicts will be delighted to know they can get their fix nearly 24/7 once again, between the CBS Show, After Dark, and the usual live feeds that many subscribe to so that they never miss a second. Showtime Greenlights a Second Installment of Big Brother: After Dark, an exclusive live three hour feed of the first winter edition of the CBS hit reality series BIG BROTHER starting Tuesday, February 12th at 12:00 AM ET/PT on SHO2

LOS ANGELES, CA - (January 8, 2008) - CBS and Showtime will once again partner to bring viewers Big Brother: After Dark, an exclusive, live televised look inside the BIG BROTHER house after the network prime-time cameras have been turned off. Big Brother: After Dark will feature a live television feed from the "Big Brother" house for three hours (12:00-3:00 AM, ET/PT), seven days a week, on the cable network's SHO2 multiplex channel beginning Tuesday, February 12th at 12:00 AM ET/PT. The announcement was made today by Robert Greenblatt, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc. "Big Brother: After Dark was a big success for us at bringing an audience to very late night time periods on SHO2. This began as an experiment with our friends at Endemol and CBS, and I'm happy that it worked so well for all of us," said Greenblatt. "I'm amazed at how much curiosity there is about what goes on in the Big Brother house after the lights are out, but what better place to present that than on SHOWTIME where we have a lot of on-air real estate in the wee hours of the morning." The first winter edition of BIG BROTHER will premiere on CBS Tuesday, February 12th and air every Tuesday at 9:00 PM ET/PT, Wednesday at 8:00 PM ET/PT and Sunday at 8:00 PM ET/PT. The series follows the relationships and conflicts of players who live together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. One by one, the houseguests will vote each other out of the house. At the end of three months, the last remaining houseguest will receive the grand prize.
