The first endurance HOH competition for Big Brother 14 is finally over, and topping off a night of shockers, Danielle walked away as the new (and first female) HOH of the season. As seen on the CBS show, the houseguests stood on a wall in the shape of a ship and had to hang on as the wall leaned back and forth and water was poured on them. The competition was over 2 hours, and it was a real battle with the majority of the houseguests staying up for quite some time.
It ended up being Danielle, Britney, and Ian battling it out for HOH. Ian made a deal with Danielle that he would not be on the block, or backdoored as a replacement. Britney knew she was safe with Danielle, so she also jumped down. Danielle wasn’t a real favorite going into the endurance competition with known competitors like Janelle, Boogey, Frank, and Shane up there, but she really turned out to be an underdog competitor by winning the competition.
The entire game has been turned upside down now that the coaches are in the game, AND by the fact that there was no eviction last night. BB14 is basically a new game with every person on their own without a coach. Who will align and who are the targets now? It’s all up in the air in this crazy season that just doesn’t slow down.
